In The Private Yoga Business Starter Kit, Chapter 2 is all about identifying your demographic.
Don’t let the marketing language turn you off!
This is really a simple idea, but it is so powerful in terms of moving forward effectively in your search for private yoga clients.
There is a group of students just waiting for you.
They are all around you right now, waiting to pay for your services with a big ole smile…
But until you get clear on who they are, you can’t see them —and perhaps worse, they can’t see you!
Chapter 2 is really about spending some time reflecting on who you are as a teacher, what you have to offer, and therefore who your prospective clients are….
Its about identifying your gifts, strengths and passions, and then thinking about what a good fit is in terms of students who are already looking for what you offer.
These students can only be magnetized by your private yoga business once you have done this work!
Compared to just randomly making a flier, crossing your fingers and hoping that your ideal students will magically appear, this piece of work up-front is like having infra-red see-in-the-dark technology, where before you were just blindly groping around!
* Identifying your demographic lets you take the next step of considering where and how to make contact with them, so you can target your marketing effectively.
* Identifying your demographic gives you a sense of confidence in what you have to offer to specific people with specific needs that you know you can address.
* Identifying your demographic guides the look, feel, and message of your website, business cards, and the photos you choose to communicate your teaching personality.
Do you see how considering all of this up-front allows you to have a cohesive strategy?
This isn’t rocket science and it’s not laborious and time consuming —it is just systematic!
There is one caveat I suggest you get comfortable with to make this realistic: in terms of your private yoga business, always add to your demographic description the key detail that they can easily afford your services.
Don’t get me wrong: I am all in favor of service work, low-cost yoga, and reaching out to underprivileged communities.
Having a successful private yoga business that takes just 10 hours out of your week and pays you 4K per month is a great foundation of support for YOU, allowing you to then choose how to use your other work hours.
So why not start right now?! Pull up the eBook and do the exercises in Chapter 2 —you’ll be one step closer to success!
