So, without further delay, here’s Question One:
1) What have you not done yet in the last year or so (that you can do starting NOW) in terms of the foundational steps that will get your yoga career up and running?
Some possible answers could be:
Create a website
Print up business cards
Start my email list
Establish a private yoga business that pays my rent
Find a tax accountant who specializes in private contractors or even yoga specifically.
Established a $40,000 to $50,000 private yoga business working 10 hours a week
Built up my public classes to earning me over $100 per class
Grew my email list from zero to 500 members
Taught a series of workshops
Led my first retreat
3) Lastly, what fears or ineffective beliefs need to shift so that I can get fired up to take these steps forward and live my dreams?
Some possible answers:
What if I fail
I don’t know enough yet
I feel conflicted about self-promotion and marketing
If I just visualize and trust this will all happen in divine timing without me having to stress or think too much
I just want to teach yoga and don’t think I should have to strategize about and work at the business side
You could also incorporate it into whatever intention setting, new year’s resolutions, self-reflection rituals and contemplation you might be doing this month.
Either way, DO IT and let’s get FIRED UP to take this next year by storm and enjoy the excitement, challenge and rewards that come from taking intelligent and creative risks and breaking old habit patterns.
